After a pre-dawn run-up, I turned to go to the runway and ran over an unlit barricade ( the portable plastic type with two lamps, about 16 inches high at the lamps). The only damage is to the wheel pant fairing, which is a simple glass repair, and the aft fuselage, which is trickier. There is a gradually deepening dent, ending abruptly at a bulkhead that is not damaged. It's about 1/4" deep, and 1 1/2" wide, at the radius. The paint is intact, but slightly scuffed. It's accessible thru the baggage area , But what is the best way to push this out? I'm a non-builder owner, but do most of the maintenance myself, and would like to keep it that way, but I don't want to make this worse than it is now. It's barely noticeable now, and I'd like to push it out without blowing off the paint. John DeCuir N204CP, RV4 SNS, CA
