Moving my Odessey PC680 to the firewall was a home run on my 170HP 0-320/MT Fixed
Pitch RV4. Moved the CG fwd and left room in the center console for a glove
box. Also started much better. Having flown many RV4's (10 in my F16 squadron
alone)with every engine and prop combo, I always recommend pitching the prop
for max RPM at SL full throttle. I tried alot of props over 12 years, Sensy metal,
Warnke, Catto, Hertzler,Sterba, Performance). MT really does their homework
and makes a decent FP prop that is light and strong and matched my engine perfectly.Vetterman
4 pipe exhaust and flowing helps, electronic ignition as well
along with hotter plugs, (Champion REM 37BY) and Auto Denso L-14U (EIgn) are
my favorites...
