--> RV6-List message posted by: "Mike Comeaux" <mcomeaux@bendnet.com> Any suggestions? After putting all components together the air box is barely touching the side of the air scoop. I already have the scoop glassed on & the air box all riveted togetther. How much does the engine move/vibrate? Any Recommendations? RV6A---0-360 Fixed Regards---Mike Comeaux mcomeaux@bendnet.net

    Subject: Fab Air Box
--> RV6-List message posted by: "Stein Bruch" <stein@steinair.com> The simple solution is simply to make a new plate for mounting the FAB to the Carb/Servo and make the center hole "off center"! I ended up making 3 of to get things perfect. Since Lycoming mounts the carbs/servos all over the place (Rarely in the center of the sump) this happens. My Fuel Injection Servo sits about 1.5" off of center, hence my requirement for a new plate that offsets the FAB to line up with the cowl inlet, Otherwise my FAB was hitting the side of the scoop also. Hope this helps! Cheers, Stein Bruch, RV6, AEIO-360/Fixed. -----Original Message----- From: owner-rv6-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-rv6-list-server@matronics.com]On Behalf Of Mike Comeaux Subject: RV6-List: Fab Air Box --> RV6-List message posted by: "Mike Comeaux" <mcomeaux@bendnet.com> Any suggestions?
