Ed,
Here are a couple of my personal favorites, both tip ups and -7's .
_http://www.rvproject.com/_ (http://www.rvproject.com/) Dan Checkoway
_http://rv7-a.com/_ (http://rv7-a.com/) Walter Tondu
However, most of everything they do is same for your -6. If you want to make
your project easier, cough up for a set of RV7 plans and finish your 6 just
like that. Plans make much more sense, with lots of instructs right on the
plans. The only real diff between 6 and 7 is the 7's wings are each a foot
longer.
You'll also find mucho RV resources on the non-specific RV lists at

or

Hope this helps...

I am new to this group and just recently took over on an older RV-6 project
(s/n 24745)
Starting with Van's website I did some searching and found Sam Buchanan's
RV6 website. His step by step pictures and commentary are very helpful and
clarifies what you sometimes can't picture looking at the directions in the
manual.
His RV-6 has a slider and I ordered a tip-up. Does anybody know where I
could find more info/pictures without going through all the RV6 listings?

If your RV 6 empennage is still available, I'll take it. Email me off line at
docstevew1@aol.com, or call me at 951-600-9329.
Thanks,

Does not look like the counterbalanced rudder in the pictures.
Thanks anyway,
