I know that I want to keep it away from the exhausts so I was initially planning on installing it in the first bay outboard of the elevator pushrod tunnel - right under the copilot seat. Where are the rest of you putting it? I'm a 6A owner, but don't really know a whole lot about pricing. >From my limited experience, I'd say if you can get 60K for it, take it and run. You don't give many details, so it's hard to say (Garmin, what radios, any other extras, etc.) I have a nice (but older) 6A, with a newly majored engine (cost me about 13K), nice IFR cockpit with A/P.....and somebody told me he didn't think I could get much more than $55K for it. It's somewhat of a buyer's market, it seems. A friend of mine recently was trying to get 60 for his, but got no offers and had to sell it for 50. Aside from some oil residue from the breather there have been no problems with this installation. Every couple of preflights I just wipe off the antenna. The exhaust tubes are spaced far enough apart that the antenna has not been affected by heat. John Brunke 215KC ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ralph E.
