It is a very aggressive solvent and easily "cuts" the tank sealant. Anything else will be harder work. It's also good for cleaning up dried primer over spray etc. Wear a paint mask and gloves, make sure that the work area is VERY WELL VENTLATED and keep pets, kids and spouses out.
