There is also a Lycoming SB leading to an AD for this line. After I comply with the requirements, how do I document the compliance? I'm guessing that it should go in my engine Log-Book. Here are the questions: Am I authorized to make the entry? I am the builder - but I don't have my ltd A&P for the airframe as it isn't flying yet. Is there a specific text for the compliance? Thanks, Ralph Capen RV6AQB N822AR @ N06 Firewall Foreward Building an experimental is supposed to be a learning experience - that's an understatement! ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 07:21:00 PM PST US From: "Frank Baldwin" Subject: Re: RV6-List: AD compliance documentation questions --> RV6-List message posted by: "Frank Baldwin" Ralph, After recording the "date" and "total time" if any, write: 1. WHAT you did 2. WHERE you did it 3. HOW you did it. You might look at some logbooks or talk to your A&P for some more tips. As a DAR I am usually disappointed with the lack of logbook entries. If you install something write it up and sign it off with "signature" and title "builder". After its built you may get a repairman's certificate with a number for the title. Hope this helps.
