    My regulator on my Nippondenso is NAPA UR572SB. There are three pins. Two are parallel and vertical, one is perpendicular and horizontal. The perpendicular pin is above the parallel pins. It is the sense pin. With the sense pin located above the parallel pins, the left pin is the field pin and the right pin is for the automatic choke according to NAPA dealer info. We, of course have no automatic choke so it is not used. Left pin field wire from bus, top pin sense wire to output post. It works that way.
