Patrick:

Congratulations on your first engine start!

To locate the vertical fin I placed its rear spar against the rear 
bulkhead of fuselage, then located the rear spar vertically according to 
the dimensions on the drawing and finally this spar was orientated 90 
degrees to the horizontal stabilizer.  The front of the of the vertical 
stabilizer was positioned to provide good alignment between the rudder 
and the vertical fin.

 I'll trim the trailing edge of the fuselage to match the trailing edge 
of the vertical fin.
