Yes, Tom. I would like the name of this stuff as I have that same leading edge leak. Keith Hedrick RV6 3LF _____ From: owner-rv6-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-rv6-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of MnwPeeps@aol.com Sent: Wednesday, September 16, 2009 9:57 PM Subject: Re: RV6-List: Leaking tank My tank was leaking just through the leading edge rivets. My mech put on, very tightly, a sort-of plastic tape substance (with no air bubbles) - three years ago and I've had no leaks since. Will get the name of the stuff if you want it, but it looks like very basic stuff. If your actual tank is leaking elsewhere then I suppose (sort of obvious) this won't work for you without taking all the bolts out, anyway. Tom In a message dated 9/16/2009 5:04:42 P.M. Need the best way of doing this, and of course, if possible the easiest... Is a pain removing all thos bolts.. Thanks for sugestions, Bert ______________________________________ =================================== ="http://www.matronics.com/Navigator?RV6-List">http://www.matronics.com/Navi gator?RV6-List =================================== ms.matronics.com/">http://forums.matronics.com =================================== tp://www.matronics.com/contribution">http://www.matronics.com/contribution =================================== 17:49:00

Keith - I just talked to my mech, and - to my surprise - he couldn't remember the name of the product! But he will, and I've asked him to call me right away when he does, and we'll get it to you.
