That was the standard Vetterman method back in 2003 when I hung my engine and it has been trouble free for coming up on 700 hours. The hangars attach to two of the bottom bolts that secure the oil pan and use the same rubber hose and steel tube attachments that Vetterman supplies. I don't understand why he went away from that method because it makes much more sense, at least to me, to hang the pipes from the engine. No cracks yet, and if they did it would not be a big deal to replace them.
