Subject: | Avery Rudder Cable Fairing |
When installing the Avery Rudder Cable Fairing, does one still install the bolt
/ clamp to retain / locate the 3/8" diameter polyethylene tube as shown on drawing
# 34 or does this fairing alone pushing against this tube provide sufficient
retention?
Thanks.

Brett, I installed both the clamp and fairing. More structurally sound and r
etains the poly tube much better than relying on the fairing alone.

I second Jeff's installation. You would hate for something to jam back
there someday if the tubing came loose.
