What could the cause be? Evaporation of Avgas? And what could the remedy be? Should I cover the fuel vent tanks when the plane is not used for a certain time? I see no leak under the aircraft, and no signs thereof. And nobody has told me about any fuel leak. Thanks for your reply. I'm assuming gallons since you probably wouldn't notice ounces. It is going to evaporate if it is leaking out slowly. You probably won't see a puddle. If the fuel drains are leaking you should see tan or orange stains on one or both. These stains clean off easily with fresh fuel on a rag. I'd also check all the fuel lines to see if you can find evidence of leakage. Start with the ones you can get to first. Theft? If not then you have a leak, if there is a leak then there will be fuel stains Jerry Springer Sent from my IPhone 4 On Jun 22, 2011, at 10:08 AM, d-burton@comcast.net wrote: > Hi George, > > How much fuel vanishes?
