Subject: | Using the RV-7A Firewall Forward Kit on an RV-6AQB |
I have some questions about using the RV-7A Firewall Forward Kit on my RV-6
AQB project (i.e. yes, I have purchased the RV-7A Firewall Forward Kit and
the RV-6A additions).=0A-=0AAs I understand, in using this kit on an RV-6
A one treats everything forward of firewall or that attaches to both sides
of the firewall per the RV-7A plans / instructions.- Aft of the firewall,
parts are installed per the RV-6A plans with the following exceptions:=0A
- -- The "RV-7A tunnel" is used to cover the fuel line between the fuel
valve forward of-the spar-and the low pressure pump on the firewall.
- The fuel valve is installed per the RV-6A drawings.=0A- -- The carb
uretor heat, throttle and mixture controls are installed horizontally under
the instrument panel.- In what order are these typically installed (i.e.
I am-will be installing-a carbureted 0-360)?- Where does the cabin h
eat control get placed?=0A-=0ADo I understand correctly?=0A-=0AThanks.
