Subject: | RV-6A Fuel Line Routing (Tank to Fuel Tank Selector Valve) |
How have people routed this fuel line? It looks like it could
potentially be stepped on when entering the cockpit or get kicked with
the back on ones foot while in the cockpit.
Have people routed it as close as possible to the front face of the
spar? Have people shielded it similar to want is done on the RV-7?
Many thanks.

Mine is routed from the fuel tanks close to the front of the spar to the
center mounted fuel valve and from there to the engine close to the front of
the spar to the left side then partially under the gear box where the
electric fuel pump is then up the extreme left side just under the carpet to
the firewall.
On my annual inspection (or every 100 hours) I drain out the line from the
fuel pump to firewall because this is the lowest spot in the system.
Hope this helps,
