    Subject: RE: RV6-List Digest: 0 Msgs - 03/04/14
I have found some nice mountable blade fuse holders that I am using for some 1-2 Amp fuses. (As in trim and Alt. Out light.) Would it be OK to use (good quality) insulated spade connectors or should the connections be soldered? Ed Hollestelle. I used Bussman fuse blocks for automotive blade fuses for all my circuit pr otection. It has tab/Faston connectors. I use AMP PIDG (pre-insulated, diam ond grip) spade connectors. They have an extra bit of metal that crimps to the wire insulation and makes a very robust connection. I would not think o f soldering a tab-type connection. You can get the fuse blocks, terminals a nd tools from Stein Air (http://www.steinair.com) and others [cid:image003.jpg@01CF385D.C41331E0] Regards, Greg Young -----Original Message----- From: owner-rv6-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-rv6-list-server@mat ronics.com] On Behalf Of Ed Hollestelle Sent: Wednesday, March 05, 2014 9:59 AM Subject: RV6-List: RE: RV6-List Digest: 0 Msgs - 03/04/14 I have found some nice mountable blade fuse holders that I am using for som e 1-2 Amp fuses. Greg, Thank you so much. You made my day. Where did you get the yellow (printed) labels? I use a regular label printer, but it's messy.. Ed Hollestelle. I use a Kroy 5200(?) shrink tube printer. It's not a cheap solution but it sure works great. I started with white labels but found I liked the yellow better. I also used it when rewiring my Navion.
