Try checking your wing tanks for weaping leaks around the inspection
plates or near the aft lower tank skin and rib intersection. the fuel will
puddle on the bottom of the wing root fairing and the smell will get into the
cockpit.

Due to an odour of fuel in the cockpit I suspect that the tubes or pipes
to the fuel selector are not sufficiently tight. I have unscrewed them
and cleaned them and reattached. This has not fully solved the problem.
Is there any way I can clean the tubes or pipes thoroughly and then seal
them tight to avoid a leak? could the problem be with the fuel selector?
I cannot see any other source of fuel leak.
If I am not mistaken I have an FS20 Type 3 valve.
Thanks.
