While a teasing trigger is nice, almost all the holes you will "drill" on the newer kits you are actually merely reaming them out to final size. On the rare occasion you actually have to drill a hole, a simple punch mark will keep the drill bit from walking. As if you cannot tell, I have used an el cheapo Delta drill from Wallyworld to ream those 15000 holes. I'm waiting on my finish kit to arrive next week and the el cheapo has performed just fine for me. For all my other tools, I've gone the Cleveland or Avery route and bought the good stuff and am not disappointed in my decision. I went with the 2X and love it, someone stopped by my shop with a 3X and I didn't like it. Why, because I was used to my 2X and was not used to the 3X. He loves his 3X though. It's what you get used too. I could even tell the difference between his cleco plyers and mine. Heck, buy those tools.........I had as good a time unboxing my first big tool order as I did opening my emp. kit!! (Whatever that means). But the most handy drill IMHO is a Makita or similar rechargable. I keep two battery drills nearby. The bits change out so quickly. A large amount of heavy drilling is just not required. I did use my air drill to upsize the riv holes on those repetitive jobs. cary rhodes --- Dana Overall wrote: > --> RV7-List message posted by: "Dana Overall" > > > John, most people on this list will swear by the > tools they have in their > > __________________________________ ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 07:26:26 AM PST US From: Gkb5577@AOL.com Subject: Re: RV7-List: Tools: Bench-Top Dimpler-Riveter --> RV7-List message posted by: Gkb5577@aol.com Am about to start the wings dimpling and have this vision of a bench dimpler with a foot-switch activation, to either make one or find one. Comments from the group would be welcomed. Geoff ________________________________ Message 4 _____________________________________ Time: 08:33:36 AM PST US From: "Dr. Kevin P.
