They're three inch belts, so are really wide, and have a nice camlock quick release. Would there be any reason not to use this type of harness (meant for automotive/racetrack use) in a homebuilt? If not, they are a pretty nice setup, and aren't too expensive either. Narrower ones are also available. They can be used as 4 or 5 point - the crotch strap comes separately usually. It is fatter and stronger than the drawing for the Vans crotch strap anchor point assumes, so some minor adaptions will need to be made. You can be confident Hooker has the product you need.
