He is not strictly RV6/7 however. http://www.airbum.com/ Indiana Larry, RV7 TipUp "SunSeeker" ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jeff Williams" <Tramsootru@direcway.com> Subject: RV7-List: RV Transition Training? > --> RV7-List message posted by: "Jeff Williams" <Tramsootru@direcway.com> > > Hey guys- > > Does anyone know of anyone who offers transition training in either the 6 or > 7 in the South East? --> RV7-List message posted by: JTAnon@aol.com On Dwg 36A section D-D where the 833 elbow for the fuel vent line exits the side of the fuse there is a callout for "2X AN spacer 4D" Wasted an hour already looking for these spacers. Three questions: Anybody know what bag they were originally in? If I can't find them what is the part number to use when I order? Dan Checkoway says both spacers go inside the skin. Anyone disagree? Sorry for such stupid questions. John McDonnell RV7A Slow QB

--> RV7-List message posted by: ronlee@pcisys.net I made another metal sheet that goes over the removeable metal that covers the flap actuating mechanism (first panel behind seat at bottom). Then I mounted the Aerox brackets to that piece. The bottle is mounted vertically and can be reached by the pilot and easily removed for filling. I will take a pictures of it when I get home and post it for you. --> RV7-List message posted by: "Norman Younie" <rv6capt@pacificcoast.net> I find that the bottle fits very well lying horizontal just behind the two seats across the top, using bungee cords to hold it down. I rent the bottles (aluminium) and regulator from the local medical supply house and use oximizer cannulas. Works great. Don't be scared off that medical oxygen has water in it, the dew point is typically -65 and if your cabin gets that cold the moisture in the O2 is least of your worries. They charge me $15/month for the regulator and $5 for the bottle. The O2 costs about $18 all in Canadian funds. If you are out of town and out of O2 just go to the nearest medical supply house and exchange the bottle for a full one. ----- Original Message ----- From: <N223RV@aol.com> <RV7and7A@yahoogroups.com>; <vansairforce@yahoogroups.com> Subject: RV7-List: RV-6/7 Oxygen Mounting Location > --> RV7-List message posted by: N223RV@aol.com > > For people using oxygen, where and how are you mounting it. --> RV7-List message posted by: Ron Lee <ronlee@pcisys.net> Here are my pics. Note the doubled sheet aluminum that is riveted to the original cover over the flap hinge area. Then the two clamps are bolted through that assembly. Reinstall all original screws. Been installed for a year with no problems. Some pics may need to be turned 90% for correct orientation. I forgot! In pic #2 you can see the lower portion of the passenger seat back metal. http://home.pcisys.net/~ronlee/RV6A/Oxygen/O2Bottle1.jpg http://home.pcisys.net/~ronlee/RV6A/Oxygen/O2Bottle2.jpg http://home.pcisys.net/~ronlee/RV6A/Oxygen/O2Bottle4.jpg http://home.pcisys.net/~ronlee/RV6A/Oxygen/O2Bottle5.jpg Ron Lee
