You will learn a lot by monitoring several newsgroups. For electrical I strongly suggest aeroelectric-list@matronics.com. There are others for engines etc. Where are you located? Is there a concise recommendation somewhere for these subjects and do I have to make these choices before I start? I will be ordering the empennage this week. I have spent some time trying to Build a VISION (Composite....RV6A Clone). Finished the HS / lower fuse / and the seat. Didn't like working in composite. A lot of mess, slow progress, and you had to cook every part. Very time consuming. It would have been a beautful / slick plane that I might have fininshed in maybe 2050.....At least I will be prepared for the fiberglass parts of the 7A. Luck and success and I hope in the future you would allow me a chance to take a look see at your progress.
