I don't remember seeing any links on the list. Dan

Subject: How long does it take to dimple the main wing skins
--> RV7-List message posted by: "Herron, Al" <Al.Herron@Aerojet.com> I would say a couple hours to deburr the holes and an hour, give or take, to do the dimpling. Don't forget you have to finish around the edge of the skin, as well. I found it a little difficult to get consistent force with the hammer blows, not to mention the fatigue factor, so I modified my C-frame with a lever made from heavy steel pipe and attached with a couple of steel plates bolted to either side of the C-frame upper arm. The lever pulls down over the top of the top of the sliding rod that holds the upper die and lets me better control the pressure on the dies. It is a lot less tiring and makes the whole process a lot "calmer". -----Original Message----- From: owner-rv7-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-rv7-list-server@matronics.com]On Behalf Of Merems Subject: RV7-List: How long does it take to dimple the main wing skins --> RV7-List message posted by: "Merems" <merems@cox.net> Fellow RV builders, I wanted to know how long it has takes to dimple the RV-7 main wing skins (one wing) using the impact c-frame dimpler. There are four skin panels per wing so either total time or just time per panel. Any information would be appreciated. Sincerely, Paul
