--> RV7-List message posted by: Trainnut01@aol.com Somewhere I saw a picture of a 7 (or 9) with an area cut out of the deck to give the pilot's left shoulder a little more room. Is anybody familiar with this? Carroll Jernigan RV7A (Bending brake lines) do not archive

--> RV7-List message posted by: "Dan Checkoway" <dan@rvproject.com> Yeah, John Hughes did that on his RV-6 with the slider canopy. The slider was kind of an important piece of the puzzle since the slider rails reinforced the area of the cutout. Here's a photo on this page: http://www.rvproject.com/20040314.html John's email is rv6flyer ---at--- verizon (dot) net. He did a few other really cool mods to make his RV-6 probably the most comfortable RV I've ever flown in. )_( Dan RV-7 N714D http://www.rvproject.com ----- Original Message ----- From: <Trainnut01@AOL.com> Subject: RV7-List: Cut out for left shoulder > --> RV7-List message posted by: Trainnut01@aol.com > > Somewhere I saw a picture of a 7 (or 9) with an area cut out of the deck to > give the pilot's left shoulder a little more room.
