I did not put in a hole in the firewall at all. There was enough clearance.

Fellow RV-7A builders,
What is the proper size hole to cut in the firewall to gain access to the
nose gear leg bolt. There is a inconsistency in the plans. On the firewall
construction drawing it calls out 3/4" diameter hole and on the nose gear
installation drawing (where the bolt is actually called out) it calls out a
1" diameter hole.
I don't want to put in a larger hole if it is not required.
Paul (RV-7A fuselage)
