MT & Johistroj used to be the same governor. It was developed by the two
companies to be sold as an MT unit, but when Johistroj started selling it
under their own name behind MT's back, MT broke ties with them and continued
development of the governor on their own. Now MT's governor is a little
different than the Johistroj. Not sure when all this happened, but it
must've been fairly recently. Reason I know this is I just ordered my prop
at Oshkosh, and I spoke with the MT guy Eric about this. I asked about the
governor specifically, and this was what he told me. Anyways, I ordered the
whole package. Chrome spinner and all.
