I have found that they work just fine at lighting the runway and taxi way for my tailwheeler. I adjusted the lights so they shine down as much as possible with the provided kit. The lack of watts is not a problem. You can order it online from their catalog. It also collapses for easy storage in the baggage compartment. I have two of them... one for the hangar and one kept in the plane. They work perfectly!
