I just heard that there's a company who's making extra fueltanks for the RV-7 and -8. I thinks it's a kind of "tubes" which is installed along the main spar in each wing, giving approx 10-12 gls extra fuel total. I thinks it's a complete kit ready to install. Anyone heard about this or know a web adr where I can find some more info? Or better still: have any experience with installation and/or use? I'm looking for something that will keep reflections on the windscreen to a minimum. I've heard of using textured black vinyl, but I'm leaning more towards flat black paint to keep weight down. Probably a PPG product since it matches the primer I have and it's what I used on my interior. Any recommendations on what worked (or didn't work) for you would be much appreciated. Paint the deck before installing the plexi, it's a whole lot easier.
