Sorry it took me so long to answering this message. I got the idea from another builder and I do not mind passing it on at all. Give me a call on my cell 404-432-1245 and I'll give you directions over to the project and you can see it for yourself; no slot, no cold. It is a handle from that Harman Rocket kit - did I spell that right? It only cost about $20 and works GREAT! Why Van doesn't switch, I don't know. Read: less wind and cold elbows in the cockpit. Naturally, I lose his name and number as I near that step. (Are you listening?) I plan to follow Van's instructions, but I'm curious to hear of mods in this area. I've seen at least one mention of using a car key latch which sounded interesting. Thanks! ****************************************** Don Hall N517DG (registered) rv7 fuselage http://rv7.donka.net ****************************************** ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 03:58:58 PM PST US From: Matt Dralle Subject: RV7-List: Comcast Was Blocking Matronics Email Lists... --> RV7-List message posted by: Matt Dralle Dear Listers (Specifically Comcast Listers), For about the last two days, Comcast was blocking incoming email from the Matronics Email Lists because their spam filters thought the mail was spam. I was able to finally get them to lift the block about 3pm PST 10/29/2006 and it appears that people on Comcast are receiving List messages again. If you are a Comcast user, you might want to email them and express your displeasure with their Spam blocking policy, particularly as it relates to "matronics.com". Sorry for the hassle... It probably wasn't Comcast's fault. It was probably the guy who pushed the "report as spam" button on the Comcast mail site. I had the same problem with the Rv Builder's Hotline. They were only doing what I'd expect an ISP to do with regards to spam, investigate it. It took about a day for me and I had to explain what I was doing. But ultimately they lifted the block and I've had no trouble since. Every now and again you see someone post an "unsubscribe" message via email. Those would be my first suspects.
