Thanks Dan,
I just got an email from Ken @ Van's and he
indicated that their plane has a .050 gap in that
area. Since the rivet line on the C-702 extends back
aways from the skin edge, does the shim almost have to
extend to the edge to get the lift needed to get the
desired gap? Would a slot cut in either the F-771 or
C-702 be preferable to shimming? Thanks.
