If experts tell us this, it must be a reason.. All you need is two pieces of
Aluminum angle, to rest the servo on them with nut plates and screws etc..
I could not do this on My rv6, because wings were already closed before
this idean came out... I installed mine under the passager's seat...
Tedious job, you have to cut the rib, reinforce the rib,etc...I think
the wind is much
easier, if you have the room to work in....

Subject: | Trio A/P Servo Mounting |
I have seen people mount other things on their wing spar web such as
terminal blocks, Adel clamps, etc. but I just want to be certain that I am
not going to compromise the spar strength by drilling four #6 holes and the
eight #40 holes for the nutplates.
