I agree, she was very conscientious. You may find better rate, but probably
not better service. There are a few exclusions in the policy that may not
work you, so check them out first.

Just a personal note, Jenny Estes was very helpful when I got my builders
insurance. Super service.

Hi Bill,
We haven't talked in awhile, I hope you're well. I bought the same policy
from Nation Air (Jenny Estes). They charged me the same 1% less $50 I think
for being an AOPA and EAA member. How is the plane coming? Here is where
I'm at: www.mykitlog.com/carlbell

Just got a quote from Nationair on Builders Coverage from AIG for my RV7a.
It was $757 with the AOPA discount for 100K coverage. EAA coverage was 1%
of insured value so the AIG quote was 25% less for the same coverage.
I think the quote from AIG sounds pretty reasonable but wanted to see if it
was in the ballpark.
Thanks

Subject: | Need to sell project - finish wng or sell as kit? |
(posting this to the RV-7 list, too)
Unfortunately, I find myself in the circumstance where I do not have the
combination of adequate time and money to finish my RV-9A project in the
forseable future. I've finished the tail kit and did the flaps and
ailerons, and was just starting on the main spar. Any recommendations on
whether to go ahead and finish the wing and then sell it, or just sell it as
is? Can I expect to get any more money for finishing it? My suspicion is
not, since partial completions seem to go for near "cost-of-kit" prices.
Anyway, input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bob - sad RV9 no-longer-builder
