Chances are that the 7's are more consistently made due to prepunch kits.
7's have larger fuel tanks and larger rudders for more range and better
control. About the same otherwise. Check the number of hours on the plane
and engine. Engine time since new or major overhaul is primary difference.
Also, 7's are newer model and probably have more uptodate electronics.

Unless you buy a pre owned RV6 kit from someone I don't think the 6 empenn
