-=C2-=C2-Have been following ur adventures; building videos, taxi tes
ting, inspections / sign-offs and now the transition tranining.
It wold appear that u have done everthng picture prfct, including the build
er's log, from modifications 2 hangar, acce[ting delivery and every step al
ong the way. So why don't u offer your experience, knowledge & talent 2 oth
ers of us who have not been able 2 embark on this GREAT journey [4 whatevr
reason] in the form of a book especially with accompanying disc of the vide
os.
It would be a great read / viewing.
I believe any RV builder would appreciate a preview of the journey
I would like 2 place my order 4 a copy now [for a personally autographed co
py the price could be $0.00 more]

4...
By the time the afternoon session on Friday rolled around, the weather was
looking pretty good. =C2-Still cloudy, but clouds were fairly high - arou
nd 3500ft - and the wind wasn't blowing too bad. =C2-We got back in the R
V-7 and took off and headed West toward the Astoria airport out on the coas
t. =C2-We shot a number of stop and go landings here and then headed out
to the Oregon Coastline proper at about 800 feet. =C2-I got some great pi
ctures from plane as we were flying along. =C2-It was amazingly beautiful
and I commented to Mike that there are very few people that have had the o
pportunity to experience the beauty of the coastline from that perspective.
=C2-Spectacular.
We shot a full stop landing at the Seaside Airport (56S) and then headed do
wn the coast a bit further to the Nehalem Bay State Airport (3S7) and shot
a landing there as well. =C2-From there we headed back to Vernonia where
I managed to squeak out yet another pretty good landing!
All toll across the 2 days and 4 sessions, I flew 6.0 hours with Mike and m
ade 34 takeoffs and landings. =C2-I have to say that I feel much more con
fident now in the RV. =C2-I absolutely cannot recommend this experience h
ighly enough to anyone who is getting ready to fly an RV for the first or n
ear the first time. =C2-Whether its for an insurance requirement or not,
you cannot afford to not take the time to learn the specifics of flying an
RV aircraft. =C2-Particularly if you only have Cessna or Piper time, but
even if you have a fair amount of tail-dragger time in aircraft such as the
Citibria like I did. =C2-The training is invaluable and frankly a must.
=C2-
I also cannot speak highly enough of Mike Seager. =C2-What a pleasure it
was flying with him these last two days. =C2-His years of experience real
ly shows and his calm, yet firm manner was perfect for the task at hand.
=C2-If you are about ready to fly your RV, give Mike a call and schedule
some time to get checked out. =C2-You won't be sorry you did. =C2-I tol
d Mike as I was handing him the check for his effort, "You know Mike, this
was the best money I've spent on my RV-8 project", and I truly meant that.
