They look pretty cool, but the web site really makes no mention of whether there's any real performance/economy benefit to them. Does anyone have any real world experience along these lines? I've got two standard Slick mags on my IO-390. If I dumped $2200 on a pair of P-Mags, would I really notice any difference? The IO-390 already starts and runs great. More power and better economy are always welcome, though... I replaced them at that time with dual pMags and auto plugs. I noticed a difference right away. Starting was quicker - after 2 blades every single time, cruise was smoother and fuel economy improved (more fuel burned in the cylinder due to hotter spark/larger plug gap). The engine is a stock O-360, so how it compares with and IO-390, would just be an assumption. I'm enough impressed with them that I am planning on installing their 6 cyl version in my 540/RV10. -ron ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Matronics Email List Services ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post A New Message rv7-list@matronics.com UN/SUBSCRIBE http://www.matronics.com/subscription List FAQ http://www.matronics.com/FAQ/RV7-List.htm Web Forum Interface To Lists http://forums.matronics.com Matronics List Wiki http://wiki.matronics.com Full Archive Search Engine http://www.matronics.com/search 7-Day List Browse http://www.matronics.com/browse/rv7-list Browse Digests http://www.matronics.com/digest/rv7-list Browse Other Lists http://www.matronics.com/browse Live Online Chat! http://www.matronics.com/chat Archive Downloading http://www.matronics.com/archives Photo Share http://www.matronics.com/photoshare Other Email Lists http://www.matronics.com/emaillists Contributions http://www.matronics.com/contribution ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These Email List Services are sponsored solely by Matronics and through the generous Contributions of its members.
