Does anyone use the ol=92 V-Jigs to assemble the elevators? I posted
earlier that I found my older elevators (built prior to the change in
counterbalance design) were quite warped. So, I=92m building a new set of
elevators. I=92m setting up V-jigs and plumb bobs to check straightness a

are finding perhaps a slight bit of twist (but not as much as the older
ones I built). I have not match drilled or riveted yet.

Ellis, I did talk with John about his RV, but the time isn't right for me
now unless he was trying to get rid of it in a black Friday sale or
something like that. not sure about buying an engine that has been stored
for 3 years either. Took a flight today in my traveler and it climbed out at
800 FPM, but it was light and real cold out. Wished it would climb like that
in the summer.
Best Regards,
