Thanks. Is there general agreement that the 3/16 edge distance from the
side of the fuselage to the outer wear bracket isn't enough to avoid washer/nut
clearance issues on the inside of the fuselage? I think Randy Lervold
suggested 3/8 was a more practical.

If my memory serves me correctly and since the plane was sitting high enough
off of the floor I think I crawled under the plane and put my Smartlevel
directly of the floor skin to level it. This made quite a difference in my
case and the gear fell in where they should be.
