I'm working on that area right now.  I'm going to wait until I fit the wings
before I make anything permanent...but I have fit the weldments and attached
the small shim and mine fit up snug just as it should.

I'm wondering the same about the nuts going on inside the spar.  Let me know
if you find a solution.
