If anyone has a set they would like to sell, please contact me off list. -Don RV8 NJ Don Kugler donkugler@earthlink.net 908-303-6578 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 06:20:45 AM PST US From: owner-rv8-list-server@matronics.com --> RV8-List message posted by: From: "Stephen J. Since I got my RV-8 QB fuselage I have wondered why there is a hinge between the inside cockpit floor and outside bottom skin just aft of the cooling ramp. There is a long hinge pin sticking out of the lower left side of the fuselage just forward of the right gear leg. Since the hinge is buried in between the floor and bottom skin, it does not appear to secure moving parts. What is the hinge there for and how do you folks secure the hinge pin (which I don't dare pull out?)
