Congratulations Stephan. 65 Db is quite impressive. I've been hearing
people on this side of the pond saying they were seeing measurements all
above 95 Db. Your plane must be a dream to fly in. I still have the
original pictures that you sent me. Are the silencers still the same or
did you have to modify them? I'd really like to see these. Do you have a
sound clip taken during flight? It would be sweet music to ones ear to
hear that.
Thanks, Chris

Hi,
Here is a picture of Stephan's silencers:

I can tell you from first hand experience, they are quiet!

Stephan,
I'd be very interested in your performance numbers with the silencers.
If there's only a knot or two difference from typical numbers, I'd
consider something like that myself, cuz I know how fatiguing high noise
levels can be on long trips, not to mention annoying to everyone within
any reasonable distance of the acft.

Does anyone in the Dalla, TX area have an -8 fuselage jig they are nearly
finished with?
I'll need one about the end of November.
I have a beautiful RV wing jig, made of welded structural steel, which has
built numerous RVs
I'll be finished with it about the end of November.
