What's the scoop on where to install the fuel flow sensor and is it a given that
one needs a fuel flow dampener like Matronics sells to get the reading accurate
in a high pressure boost pump installation?  If they really are needed then
I want to install up front but I'm not looking for an excuse to buy one more
so so justified thing  and make extra work for myself ;-)

Can the fuel flow sensor be installed forward of the firewall and if so, do they
hold up over time in that environment?  I ask because I did all my fuel plumbing
work not anticipating this and there's not a lot of room inside the RV8 where
the pumps are typically mounted.  It would be a real you know what to have
to redo all of that inside the fuse.

While I'm asking things, is the GRT EFI's/engine monitoring system easy to calibrate
with Van's float senders and are they as accurate?  I bought Van's gauges
and am wondering if it would be a good idea to install them anyway though I'd
love to send them back to Van's if they truly are a waste at this point (bought
them a couple of years ago before the EFIS was a thought).
