--> RV8-List message posted by: "George Inman" <ghinman@mts.net> How close does the engine thrustline have to match the cabin longerons? My engine thrustline is about one degree downward compared to the cabin longerons. If it was one degree upward I would not worry about it since the engine might sag that much. Is there anyone flying with one degree down.? GEORGE H. INMAN ghinman@mts.net CELL 204 799 7062 HOME 204 287 8334

--> RV8-List message posted by: "Esten Spears" <ewspears@comcast.net> George, Down thrust is a GOOD THING! It is designed into many airplanes. Having some Downthrust minimizes the Pitch Change with Power Level Changes. I have 2 Degrees Down and 2 Degrees Right Thrust. VERY distinct down angle.
