My battery is in the baggage bay and works very well, however I am now considering a move to the rear position ( which should add 10 lbs to the tail ) and I will carry ballast when it is gusty or very windy. Oh yes, the battery is in the rear position also. It helped on the landings. To date, I haven't had the problem with the wind, but maybe the conditions weren't right.
