We had high temps in the beginning and found that we had sucked a piece of paper into the intake. While we had it apart we increased the size of the intake.     --> RV8-List message posted by: "Paul Schattauer" <chasm711@msn.com> Someone told me that early cowls had a 2" exhaust opening and that caused some problems and this was later changed to a 3" opening. I also set the cooler back from the baffle by 1/2 inch and it's tightly sealed. Just something to check.
