Subject: RV8-List: VS Skin Question


Greetings:

I have an "older" Emhennage Kit (with an older Dwg 6PP
for the VS) and just saw a "newer" Dwg 6 for the Vert
Stabilizer.  Where the VS Skin meets the 2 bottom Ribs
(VS-705 and VS-704), it says - "Leave open for
empennage fairing attach ....."  Are these 6 places
(each side of VS Skin) dimpled for nutplates or what
????  Otherwords what should I do to these 6 places
while building the VS, if anything ???  Do not have
the "newer instructions" that explain what goes on at
these places.

Gary,

I built the older emmpanage and put in nut plates on both sides.  I'm not
sure if it's right yet because I haven't got to the point where the fairing
is placed.
