Not quite, seems those seven holes on the bottom of the fuselage that have been staring back at me for several years belong to the flap fairing and I now cannot access them from inside the fuselage. Removing the floor is not an option so I am wondering if someone has unique solution before I grab the pop rivets. Thanks, Vince H. (Finish) I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Unfortunately this is the fourth tunnel in a row. ________________________________ Message 4 _____________________________________ Time: 05:33:01 PM PST US From: "Tom Schad" Subject: Re: RV8-List: Mounting RV8 - F-827c flap fairing after the floor is installed The solution is called cherry max rivets. That is what I did. In fact, I probably used 50 of them in my RV-8. They aren't cheap, but they work well. ----- Original Message ----- From: Vincent S.
