RvA Builders, I have a question concerning the left flap fairing. Where the left
fairing mounts over the steel step plate the fairing has three # 30 PP holes
that would be drilled for attachment as a tail dragger. For the 8A model should
the three holes be drilled through the step plate? I am concerned about weakling
the plate with three holes in line just to lap the fairing. The plans don't
address the issue. Who drilled and riveted the fairing to the plate ? Also
I expect with time the step plate will flex with use. Will that warp the fairing
? Next to building the baggage door that dammed left side fairing has been
the meanest job so far. Hope to hear from the folks that know, best regards,
