The lead weight will probably be too heavy and you will need to remove some of it. However, if you have not painted the elevators leave the weight about 2-3 oz too heavy so they will balance when painted. Is this correct? Is it safe to fly the aircraft with some positive balance (trailing edge up for paint compensation) ?
