Gentlemen,
There is a nice RV-8 belonging to the guy across the street from me.   It 
is not a glass panel, but nicely equipped.  It was the fourth member of  a 
four ship RV formation show team called the Mavericks and has a nice paint  
job.
The owner is switching to a LSA and has it listed in Trade-a-Plane.   If 
you'd like details or photos email me directly and I'll get it for you.

I am in  the same boat as your friend - looking for a good RV-8 with 
newer IFR  panel.  Except I am located at PRC (Prescott, AZ - Love Field) 
and  San DIego area (RMN - Ramona).  I can buy the RV-8 from anywhere in  
the USA.
