Stan, - I tried to send you an email with some pics on how I did my towers but your server blocked it.- How would you like me to send them to you? - Bill. --- On Sat, 10/9/10, Stan Loer <stazel@cpros.com> wrote: From: Stan Loer <stazel@cpros.com> Subject: RV8-List: Gear Towers Am seriously considering opening up the gear towers similar to what Mike St ewart did.- This was a suggestion in response to questions I posed about the gear installation and I would like to flesh it out a little more.- It certainly makes access to the #$%&@* gear bolts and other stuff inside much easier.--My plan A would be to-bridge only the the lower 2 lightening holes, rather than all three .- Since I haven't installed the gear yet,-this would be a good time to do it.- All suggestions/comments greatly appreciated.- --- - Stan Loer--- RV8 QB

Dean, My POH is a work in progress, but I'm happy to send you a copy if you're interested. It's setup in Word and prints two pages in landscape on a 8.5x11 sheet then you fold them and staple together. Once I get it finished (ha) I'll have it printed and laminated. Stan Sutterfield Thanks for the suggestion that I check the Vans Air Force. They had no RV-8 handbook but the one for the RV-9 is outstanding. It makes a good format for me to fill in the data for the RV-8. I plan to join.
