Accordi ng to the professional "benders"-the pipe is-an unusual size of molly a nd no one here will touch it without the exact dies because it will definit ely buckle.=0A-=0ASo instead of bending I decided to shorten the front st ick so it fits under the panel. From the pivot to the top of the stick it i s 18cm long. However I may shorten it a little more because-the clearance is minimal=0A-=0AThe rear stick is even shorter, but due to the sitting position this is not a problem for the rear passenger. It is 9 1/2cm from t he bottom of the removable pipe to the top. However I have found that I sti ll need to bend the rear stick with-a radius of-2.5 cm to stop it hitti ng the front seat before full forward travel is reached. I think I will nee d to either cut and weld or heat and bend.=0A-=0AHave a look at the attac hment, I have put a couple of photographs there.
